Monthly Milestones: 5 Months!

This month's Monthly Milestones is going to be a tad different that normal. I forgot to bring our furry faux sheepskin rug to San Diego with us so we had to use the blanket that his Dada and I bought on our trip to Cabo! Look at that smile on his face though! How adorable!

16.5 lbs - 24 inches
Eats every 3-4 hours and drinking 5-6oz and is now full-time bottle fed. The very last time to attempted to breast feed was the an emotional day for me. I didn't last as long as I had hoped for, but thats ok, cuz the important thing is that you're healthy.
Sleeps patterns have varied. Some nights you want to sleep for 6 hours straight, and other nights you're up every 2 hours. It's also because we were out of town for over a month, so I can see why your sleep patterns have been a little off!

Your rainforest jumperoo that Momsie and Popsie got you to use in San Diego!
TFC (the filipino channel) Commercials! Yupp, we've spent too much time at the Grands' house!
Sucking your bottom lip!
Sucking your toes!

Dislikes:

Being strapped to anything! (Stroller and carseat mostly!)

Milestones:

Rolling over from back to tummy! (I missed this one, but Dada saw it! Funny thing is, I was right next to you, but someone texted and I happen to look down on my phone! Stupid phone!! Haha!)
Sitting up on your own!
Somewhat crawling... more like scooching over by using your head and knees. Lol!

Firsts:

Plane ride! And you did so so well! Only fussed once for your baba, and the rest you were either sleeping, playing or watching MCC!
First visit to San Diego and meeting your Grandpa (paternal) and Great-Grandma from Dada's side and some of his family as well as some of Mama's relatives and everyone else in San Diego!
First time at the beach (Coronado in San Diego)!
First time at an amusement park... Universal Studios Hollywood!
Mother's Day with Mama! <3
First time staying with the Grands all by yourself cuz Mama and Dada went on an out of country trip! We missed you terribly, but you were in good hands!

It has been such a joy getting to take you around our hometown, even if Dada only got to join us for a few weeks! We didn't do all the things I wanted us to do but you did see as much as we could in one month! Balboa park, Ferry Boat Landing, Hollywood, just to name a few! Don't worry this isn't your last trip to our hometown, next time we visit will be for your first birthday, and we're definitely taking you to Disneyland!! I loved watching you bond with your Grands and your Sisi! How excited you get when you see them walk through the door when they come home from work. They taught you how to do the typical filipino thing most babies learn, "Close, Open!" and you close and open your hands. You also loved watching TFC with them! Too bad because when we got back to Va, that was definitely something we didnt have!

This month has been a month of many firsts! It still amazes me everyday that we have you to share this life with! You bring so much joy, not just to us, but to everyone around you! You're already so silly! Stay that way! I love you kid, to the moon and back! <3
