- 18.3 lbs - 26 inches
- Eats: 6-7oz of formula, homemade baby food and Plum Organics baby food! You love bananas, squash, sweet potato, spinach... so far you haven't been picky. Thank goodness!
- Sleep patterns have varied, I think it'll always vary from now on.
- Diaper Size: 3
- Clothes Size: 6M/6-9M
- Likes:
- Crawling everywhere! You'd prefer to be put down on the floor than be on your walker or jumper!
- Plush blankets! You absolutely love them and have to have them to be able to sleep!
- Strings and laces! You have thing for it right now that you'd rather play with (or in this case, chew on) the lace that you're supposed to use to pull around your dump truck toy instead of the actual toy!
- Mirrors! Idk what it is about them but as soon as we're in front of one, you start laughing or smiling! You started doing this a while back, but I just really noticed how much you liked it this month because Id catch you crawling all the way to the foyer to look at the mirror!
- Dislikes:
- Jumper! You can only stay in that thing for no more than 10-15 minutes, otherwise you get bored and tired of it and you'd scream to be picked up.
- Feeling trapped and restrained, which is why you're not a fan of your jumper anymore.
- Milestones:
- Sitting up with no assistance! You started sitting on your own a couple of days after we got back from San Diego!
- Crawling!!! You're finally crawling like a normal person! Lol!
- Pulling yourself up when holding onto something! This part came days after you finally started crawling using your hands instead of your head (lol!)
- Teething! (not sure if this is a milestone, but ill put this in here anyway!) Ever since getting back from San Diego you have been quiet the drooler! No actually teeth has ruptured through your gums yet, but i know you're teething cuz everything that touches your hands goes in your mouth and you grind it on your gums!
- Firsts:
- 4th of July
- Playing in the swimming pool!! The water was a little cold so we only let you stay in for 30 minutes.
- Personality/Others:
- You are becoming more and more independent and playful! Getting things done around the house, like washing the dishes, is more do-able now than when you were a newborn because I can sit you down on your play area for a bit while you play and/or watch Disney or Nick Jr. shows!
- You're a mover! Diaper changes are becoming a bit more complicating now that you're more mobile! As soon I get your clothes off and Im reading to change your diaper, you twist your entire body like youre gonna roll over! So you and I have been wrestling quite a bit during diaper changes! Lol!
- Loud mouth!! You're definitely a talker! You're saying more and more jibberish as the weeks go by. You started off with "ma ma ma, ba ba ba, mum mum mum" that sometimes I feel like I hear you say Mama! Such a tricker!
- You have officially outgrown your infant bath tub! We will soon be getting rid of it and just start having your use the big boy tub!
Hold up! Do I really have a 6 month old!? SIX!? That means we are half way through his first birthday! Can I just freak out real quick? Time flew! My big boy! <3

- Yumyums (teething waffers), you devour it like there's no tomorrow!
- Dislikes:
- Peas! You havent been very picky, but when I gave you Spinach and Peas, you werent very pleased, but you typically dont mind eating spinach, so I assumed its the peas!
- Milestones:

- Crawling!!! You're finally crawling like a normal person! Lol!

No actually teeth has ruptured through your gums yet, but i know you're teething cuz everything that touches your hands goes in your mouth and you grind it on your gums!
- Firsts:
- Eating "big baby" snacks, aka teething wafers and puffs! Which is sometimes a lifesaver when we're out at the store because I just hand you one and you're a happy kid!
- Father's day with Dada!! <3 We celebrated with Dada by eating his favorite, Korean food!
- Playing in the swimming pool!! The water was cold so we only let you stay in for no more than 30 minutes! You were enjoying it, until about the last 10 minutes when you were just over it! We even got you a floatie to sit in with matching canopy! You looked so relaxed in it!
- Taking you to Freemason district (which is one of our favorite photography spots!) to do your 6 month pictures! This is was the first time we took you out to do "professional" photos. The only other time we did was for your first month, but that was taken at home!
- Dermatology appointment! :( Your eczema for the past month has gotten worse! Idk if its the weather change from San Diego to Va's heat, but you flared up like crazy and your beautiful cheeks were all cracked and scarred! We were finally able to schedule an appointment with the derma and was prescribed Oil and was told to change your shampoo/body wash and lotion to CeraVe! Which I am glad we did because after just 2 days you were completely healed! :)
- Personality:
- When we say you're our wild child, we mean it! You are crazy, little daredevil! You aren't afraid to try something different! Thats a trait about you Im starting to love!
These are just some of the pictures from your session! We didnt last very long and didnt even get a chance to do family pictures cuz you weren't feeling it at all! So Dada decided to just call it a day! Thats okay though, cuz we'll have plenty more opportunities to get some photos of you!
I love you kid, to the moon and back! <3
This month's Monthly Milestones is going to be a tad different that normal. I forgot to bring our furry faux sheepskin rug to San Diego with us so we had to use the blanket that his Dada and I bought on our trip to Cabo! Look at that smile on his face though! How adorable!
- 16.5 lbs - 24 inches
- Eats every 3-4 hours and drinking 5-6oz and is now full-time bottle fed. The very last time to attempted to breast feed was the an emotional day for me. I didn't last as long as I had hoped for, but thats ok, cuz the important thing is that you're healthy.
- Sleeps patterns have varied. Some nights you want to sleep for 6 hours straight, and other nights you're up every 2 hours. It's also because we were out of town for over a month, so I can see why your sleep patterns have been a little off!
- Diaper Size: 3
- Clothes Size: 6M

- Sitting up on your own!
- Somewhat crawling... more like scooching over by using your head and knees. Lol!
- Firsts:
- Plane ride! And you did so so well! Only fussed once for your baba, and the rest you were either sleeping, playing or watching MCC!
- First visit to San Diego and meeting your Grandpa (paternal) and Great-Grandma from Dada's side and some of his family as well as some of Mama's relatives and everyone else in San Diego!
- First time at the beach (Coronado in San Diego)!
- First time at an amusement park... Universal Studios Hollywood!
- Mother's Day with Mama! <3
- First time staying with the Grands all by yourself cuz Mama and Dada went on an out of country trip! We missed you terribly, but you were in good hands!
It has been such a joy getting to take you around our hometown, even if Dada only got to join us for a few weeks! We didn't do all the things I wanted us to do but you did see as much as we could in one month! Balboa park, Ferry Boat Landing, Hollywood, just to name a few! Don't worry this isn't your last trip to our hometown, next time we visit will be for your first birthday, and we're definitely taking you to Disneyland!! I loved watching you bond with your Grands and your Sisi! How excited you get when you see them walk through the door when they come home from work. They taught you how to do the typical filipino thing most babies learn, "Close, Open!" and you close and open your hands. You also loved watching TFC with them! Too bad because when we got back to Va, that was definitely something we didnt have!
This month has been a month of many firsts! It still amazes me everyday that we have you to share this life with! You bring so much joy, not just to us, but to everyone around you! You're already so silly! Stay that way! I love you kid, to the moon and back! <3
These pictures are just a fraction of what we collected in a little over a month in San Diego! I didnt want to post all of it because, well, you can just look at our albums for those! :]
So I definitely do not have a newborn anymore. I have an old born! Haha! Man oh man how time is flying so quickly that my mind can barely comprehend that I have a 4 month old! Four months ago I was so eager for him to get to this point and now that he is, I'm feeling a bit nostalgic to the day he was born.
- 14.6 lbs - 24 inches
- Eats every 3-4 hours, is now 75% bottle fed and 25% breast fed.

- Staring at the ceiling fan, lights, moving things

- Zoo Visit @ the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington, Dc! Of all the animals we saw, I think you enjoyed the cheetah, zebra and the elephants the most!
- Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, Dc!
- Eating actual baby food! Your very first meal (aside from breastmilk and formula) was organic oatmeal cereal, and your first veggie/fruit was butternut squash that I made for you! So far you've tried cereals, squash, and sweet potatoes! :]
- Personality:
- Your character and personality is definitely coming out more now that youre more interactive. You're a very curious little guy and love to blabber as usual!
